Visit Family
This is a pretty obvious one but the last time I hugged my mum was on her birthday 1st July and before that was probably February/March time. We haven't seen Kallums lovely great-grandma since we got married last September either. Much like everyone else quality time with our family definitely has to be top of the list.
UK Mini Breaks
This is something we used to do loads before we bought our house but since then other things take priority, of course. As soon as we get back to a bit more of a normal world, I would love to have more mini breaks in the UK! We love a log cabin stay and there are so many beautiful places I haven't visited yet!
Visit Nostalgic Places
When I was a kid I used to go to all different stately homes, national parks, beaches etc with my grandad and at the beginning of the year we had said we were going to visit as many as possible on Kals weekends off. I can't wait to actually be able to tick some places off the list and revisit the best bits of my childhood.
Giraffe Experience - Zoo
For the longest time I have wanted to do one of the animal experiences at a zoo or wildlife park - particularly a giraffe one because they're my absolute favourite! We visited Longleat once and I wanted to book onto one but they weren't running them at the time and I was so gutted! Fingers crossed for next year!
Visit the Theater
In 2016 me and my mum went to see Carrie Hope Fletcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and it was honestly one of the best things I've done! We both really enjoyed it and I now have a list of so many other shows I would like to go and see live as soon as possible.
So, that's just 5 things I'm looking forward to - there's obviously so many more like date nights with Kallum, taking our nieces for days out and pretty much anything we will be allowed to do spontaneously without worrying about how safe it may be.
Let me know, do you have a post lockdown bucket list and if so, what's at the top of it?
